# O&M Equestrian Ltd Riding Instruction Terms and Conditions
**Last updated: 15 July 2026**
O&M Equestrian Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number To be supplied. Its registered office is To be supplied. ICO registration number: Pending.
## Scope
These terms apply to riding instruction, rider assessments, instructor-ridden schooling, lessons, clinics and related services supplied by O&M Equestrian Ltd. The person making a booking must be at least 18 and authorised to provide information about the rider, horse and emergency contact.
## Accurate information and safety
Customers must provide accurate rider, horse, medical and emergency information and update it before the service if anything changes. O&M Equestrian Ltd may adapt, pause or stop a service where an instructor reasonably considers this necessary for safety, horse welfare or suitability.
Where a rider participates, they must be fit to take part, wear appropriate clothing and safety equipment, and follow reasonable instructions. Where a horse participates, its owner or keeper remains responsible for its fitness, suitability, behaviour, tack, transport, veterinary care and insurance.
## Under-18 riders
A booking for a rider under 18 must be made or authorised by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian must remain present, contactable and responsible throughout the lesson, clinic or training session when the service requires this.
## Instructor-ridden services
For instructor-ridden services, the customer confirms that they own the horse or have authority to instruct O&M Equestrian Ltd to ride or school it. Rider medical declarations are not required where no rider is participating, but horse suitability and owner-authorisation declarations still apply.
## Booking and payment
The service, instructor, date, time, price, deposit and payment options are shown before confirmation. A booking is not complete until the booking system confirms it. Payment methods are determined by the selected service and the enabled payment providers.
Cash at the end of a lesson is available only to customer accounts individually approved by O&M Equestrian Ltd and only where the service permits full cash payment with no deposit. Cash cannot pay a deposit and cannot be combined with another payment method.
Gift vouchers and promotional codes are governed by their separate published terms. Only one promotional code may be used per transaction.
## Attendance, cancellation and changes
The customer must be ready at the confirmed start time. A late service normally ends at the original finish time and may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show where insufficient safe time remains.
Customer cancellations are governed by the Cancellation and Refund Policy accepted for the booking. O&M Equestrian Ltd may change, postpone or cancel a service because of instructor illness, unsafe weather or ground, venue closure, horse welfare, emergencies or other circumstances making the service unsafe or impractical.
## Inherent risk and liability
Equestrian activity involves inherent risk and horses may behave unpredictably. Nothing in these terms excludes O&M Equestrian Ltd's duty to provide services with reasonable care and skill, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to those protections, O&M Equestrian Ltd is not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate or withheld information, customer-owned tack or equipment, failure to follow reasonable instructions, an unsafe location controlled by another person, or events outside O&M Equestrian Ltd's reasonable control.
## Personal information
O&M Equestrian Ltd uses personal information as described in its Privacy Policy. Customers providing information about another person must ensure it is accurate and make that person aware of the relevant privacy information.
## Complaints and law
Questions or complaints should be sent to To be supplied or made through the booking account. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and do not affect statutory consumer rights.
